A trip to Boltshausen and Ottoberg is well worthwhile, some of the houses having been splendily restored in style. You get there from Zurich by car in 50 minutes, mostly on the highway or by train from Zurich-Winterthur-Frauenfeld.

The "Wystübli" restaurant of the Bosch family in Boltshausen, is no longer just a hot tip since the press wrote most favourably about it. They serve their own wine in bottles with labels specially designed by artists and - as a special treat - cold mixed meat which have not their equals!
